During this time, Southwire’s 12 for Life program is on a temporary furlough due to the effects of COVID-19. Southwire will file for unemployment on the students’ behalf.

Unemployment Information

Current Status of 12 for Life Students

The current status of 12-for-Life students is as follows. All current 12-for-Life freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will remain as furloughed 12-for-Life employees. When school closure is over and we are allowed to return to school as normal, all current 12-for-life freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be contacted to resume work schedules at 12-for-Life without having to reapply to the 12-for-Life program.
